With a background in marketing and public relations, Tom Cooper knows how to present a property to its best advantage. An award-winning broker, he has earned a reputation for working well with his colleague brokers to ensure a transaction's success.

Tom is a Chelsea co-op owner and knows from his own experiences the excitement and anxieties that accompany apartment sales and purchases, namely that finding a property for a buyer, or a buyer for a seller's property, is just the beginning of a transaction's critical path. All transactions contain many moving parts, including contracts, loans and board packages, and each part must be carefully monitored along the transaction's progress to ensure its success. Along the way, as buyers and sellers have inevitable questions about the process, Tom is there to answer them. He has been featured on CNN's Five Tips as well as quoted in Britain's Independent newspaper on Manhattan real estate issues.

Tom Cooper is Sotheby's International Realty's representative to the Broker's Partnership of the Greenwich Village Society of Historic Preservation, and is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
