Serena Boardman

Serena Boardman is a graduate of the Chapin School, Brooks School and Brown University, where she majored in Art History and Political Science.

Before she began her career in real estate, Serena was employed at Sotheby's Auction House in the European and English Furniture Departments and then at LuxuryFinder.com.

Serena started with Sotheby's International Realty in 2001. Since that time she has sold in excess of $800 million dollars of property and has consistently been ranked as a top producer. In 2008 the Wall Street Journal ranked Serena as the number one broker in the United States by sales volume.

Serena works in the co-op, condominium and townhouse markets both on the Upper East Side and downtown. Focusing on the sale of top-tier properties, Serena's career highlights include achieving two record price sales of $48 million and $33 million for Fifth Avenue prewar cooperatives and the sale of a landmark Park Avenue townhouse for $31.5 million. In each of these transactions, Serena represented the buyer and the seller.

Serena has also sold numerous other spectacular prewar cooperative apartments in important JER Carpenter and Rosario Candela buildings including 820 Fifth Avenue, 834 Fifth Avenue, 960 Fifth Avenue, 720 Park Avenue and 550 Park Avenue among others.

More recently Serena sold a beautifully renovated 20' townhouse for $19.6 million, which set the record as the third highest price achieved for a 20' townhouse in Manhattan. She has also set a record per square foot price for the sale of a penthouse at One Beacon Court. In addition to these major sales, much of Serena's time is dedicated to selling properties in the range of $3 to $15 million.

Serena enjoys working with a variety of American and international clients from the financial, media, entertainment and real estate worlds. She is enthusiastic, hardworking and discreet and is well known as a keen architectural devotee.

In addition to her work, Serena is also very committed to supporting a number of city-based charitable institutions including New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, the Central Park Conservancy, the Boys and Girls Club of New York, God's Love We Deliver and the Elmer Bobst Animal Medical Center.
