Serena Boardman

Serena Boardman is a graduate of the Chapin School, Brooks School and Brown University, where she majored in Art History and Political Science.

Before she began her career in real estate, Serena was employed at Sotheby's auction house in the European and English Furniture Departments and then at LuxuryFinder.com.

In 2001 Serena started with Sotheby's International Realty and is now the youngest Senior Vice President at the firm. Since that time she has sold in excess of $800 million of property and has consistently been ranked as a top producer.

Serena works in the co-op, condominium and townhouse markets, both on the Upper East Side and downtown. Focusing on the sale of top-tier properties, Serena's career highlights include achieving a record price sale of $48 million for a Fifth Avenue prewar cooperative and the sale of a landmark Park Avenue townhouse for $31.5 million. In both of these transactions, Serena represented the buyer and seller.

Serena has sold four other spectacular Fifth Avenue prewar cooperatives in JER Carpenter and Rosario Candela buildings. These sales were for $36.5, $26, $25 and $24.5 million. Other significant sales include two large Park Avenue apartments in the East 70s.

More recently Serena sold a historically important Beaux Arts mansion in the East 60s for $19 million and a 25 ft. limestone house in the East 80s for $37 million. Further uptown, Serena's sales have included a magnificent neoclassical residence in the East 90s just off Fifth Avenue. She has also set a record per-square-foot price for the sale of a penthouse at One Beacon Court. In addition to these major sales, much of Serena's time is dedicated to selling properties in the $3 to $15 million range.

Serena enjoys working with a variety of American and international clients from the financial, media, entertainment and real estate worlds. She is hardworking and discreet and is well known as a keen architectural devotee.

In addition to her work, Serena is very committed to supporting a number of city-based charitable institutions including New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, the Central Park Conservancy, the Boys and Girls Club of New York, God's Love We Deliver and the Elmer Bobst Animal Medical Center.
