New York City Real Estate

Pierrette Hogan

Pierrette Lufau Hogan was born and educated at HEC in Paris and came to the United States as a Fulbright Scholar in economics and finance. While maintaining her strong ties to the international community, Pierrette rapidly became a New Yorker with a particular passion for architecture and the inner lives of the city's multi-faceted neighborhoods.

After a few years of education at Skidmore College and Temple University, Pierrette created her own interior design firm by translating her sophisticated taste and European exposure into a successful business. Her experience in designing homes in the city's most prestigious buildings enhanced her knowledge and appreciation of Manhattan's real estate.

In the early 1990s, Pierrette accepted the position of Director of Elite Properties and Estates and manager of the Park Avenue office of a well-known boutique real estate brokerage. With her proficiency in finance, she skillfully dealt with all the aspects of the real estate business, concluding numerous multi-million dollar transactions involving a wide range of local and international clients.

In 2006, Pierrette joined Sotheby's International Realty, where her intimate knowledge of New York City further enhances her career as an international broker. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and in 2008 achieved the elite recognition of New York Residential Specialist (NYRS), a graduate designation held by a very select group of highly experienced New York City brokers.

Pierrette lives with her family in one of the Upper East Side's premier cooperatives, where she has been a member of the Board of Directors for 26 years, seven of them as president. She spends her free time at the opera and in museums, does charity work with her church and travels to France.
