Peter joined Sotheby's International Realty after a successful career on Wall Street as a fixed income trader and portfolio manager. After he and his spouse, a designer, purchased and renovated a number of apartments and restored historic homes, Peter found he had a knack for seeing the potential of properties that others do not, and decided to pursue a career in real estate.

His former training in the financial markets has taught him a keen sense of relative value, along with patience, professionalism and sharp negotiating skills.

He received his undergraduate degree from Oberlin College, his MBA in banking and finance from Pace University and his accreditation as a Certified Negotiation Expert for Real Estate Professionals through the Real Estate Board of New York. These credentials, along with his personable nature, provide clients with the expertise and cool-headedness needed to navigate through the purchase or sale of any property.

As a New Yorker for more than 30 years, he is knowledgeable with all parts of the Manhattan market.

When Peter isn't working at Sotheby's International Realty, he is on his bike, running in Central Park, pursuing his appreciation of art in museums and at galleries, exploring the city, or spending time with friends on the East End of Long Island or at his house in Litchfield County. He is on the Board of Directors of his cooperative, and of Theatre East, a theatre company committed to theatre that explores the human experience.
