Before embarking on her real estate career at Sotheby's International Realty, Miriam Driot spent five years as director of special events at Fashion Group International, hosting fashion luminaries such as Alber Elbaz and Jean-Paul Gaultier, during their annual black-tie galas. She has also taught at Parsons The New School for Design, and has worked for leading brands including Balenciaga, Donna Karan and Pierre Cardin.

A native of the French Riviera, Miriam is a travel enthusiast, and has found that her international background and language skills have prepared her well to work with an international clientele. She is fluent in French and Italian, and proficient in German. Working in real estate allows her to further explore her passion for interior design and architecture, as well as use her existing skills in marketing and public relations.

When not working she likes to run, practice yoga, write, read, volunteer and enjoy all that New York City has to offer from great restaurants to first-class entertainment.

Miriam Driot holds a BA in journalism with a minor in business, and an MA in international affairs. She also serves on the advisory board of the High School of Fashion Industries (HSFI).
