New York, New York

Lauren Chu

Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, Lauren worked in fashion and finance. Her sophisticated sense of style brought her to the design room of Vera Wang, after which she joined Hamlin Capital Management, a boutique wealth management firm, where she handled client services and new business development. Lauren is pleased to have found in real estate the ideal way to merge her talents for style and business and her kinship with those who call New York City home.

Lauren is skilled at relationship building and consistently uses her broad network to help her clients find the perfect home. On the sell side, her keen eye for detail, her effective communication skills and her experience as a freelance copywriter enable her to excel at marketing clients' properties.

Lauren was born and raised in Manhattan and attended the Brearley School before leaving the city for Taft School, a private boarding school in Connecticut. She went on to attend Princeton University, where she majored in English and played varsity squash and tennis.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys exploring the city's dog parks with her Teacup Yorkshire Terrier, Duncan, and is always eager to get on a squash or tennis court for some friendly competition.
