Kathleen Hoffman Linburn began her real estate career in 1981 with a small Murray Hill firm. Over the next four years she developed a specialty selling townhouses, often selling eight to ten houses a year. In 1985 she founded her own firm and became known as one of New York City’s premier townhouse brokers. The firm became enormously successful and was acquired by William B. May Co., where she became Director of Townhouse Sales as well as a top producer of cooperatives and condominiums. Having lived and worked in Hong Kong, Paris and the Caribbean, her international business experience and extensive travel globally have enabled her to build a client base worldwide, which includes successful people in the worlds of fashion, entertainment, art and finance. With their keen interest in Asian art, both she and her husband are part of the President’s Circle of the Asia Society as well as active members of Friends of Asian Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has been a guest speaker on real estate topics at the University Club and the Real Estate Board of New York City.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Grosvenor Neighborhood House Y and Search and Care, Inc., and is an active member of City Gardens Club, the University Club, the River Club and the Cosmopolitan Club of New York City. Kathy lives with her husband, Michael, an investment advisor, in a townhouse off Beekman Place.
