As a recognized performer in New York's most prestigious hotels and concert venues including the Pierre and Carnegie Hall, jazz pianist, singer and music writer Kathleen Landis has built a formidable New York and international clientele.

Now, she proudly brings her long interpersonal experience to her position as a sales associate with Sotheby's International Realty. Kathleen is extremely pleased to have the opportunity to join the experienced Sotheby's team of Rheda and Laura Brandt.

Throughout her many years of musical performance, Kathleen has been richly gratified in serving the needs of her listening audience. She now answers the needs of her Sotheby's clients with that same creativity and passion for giving.

The talents and backgrounds of Rheda, Laura and Kathleen set them apart in that all have previous qualifications in the fine arts. The unique disposition of this group proves itself in finding creative solutions for people of specific preference.

A Dutchess County former church serves as a weekend getaway for Katheen, her partner, jazz pianist Howard Lucas, and their adopted Welsh terrier, Bix Biderbecke. They have completely renovated this Staatsburgh Village church (circa 1880) to its present state as a concert space and home.

Katheen is a native of the Detroit area. She graduated from Central Michigan University with New York postgraduate study in piano and voice. She is a writer for cabaret scenes and has recently published articles in several books. She is a member of the Art Deco Society, Letchetizsky Society (for piano pedagogy), the Dutch Treat Club, Screen Actors Guild and the A.S.P.C.A. of Dutchess County.
