Jonathan Hettinger has been active in real estate since 1998. Acting as a principal for his own account, he purchased, renovated and sold ten single-family homes and apartments in Florida and the Northeast during the 1998-2008 period. The discipline required to seek attractively priced properties, renovate them according to exacting standards and then profitably market and sell them gives him a unique perspective in assisting clients who are interested in buying or selling properties.

Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, Jonathan was Managing Director of the Latin America Enterprise Fund in Miami, where he helped manage $400 million entrusted to the fund by university endowments, including Harvard and Stanford. As part of his duties at the fund, Jonathan served on the boards of several companies, including the Caterpillar Equipment Corp. (Venezuela). He has lived in Argentina, Chile and Mexico and is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Italian.

Jonathan is a graduate of Princeton University and a member of The Real Estate Board of New York.
