Jeremy Stein has been selling residential real estate in New York since 2006. On selected projects, Jeremy partners with his wife, Robin Stein, who has been a Vice President at Sotheby's International Realty for over 10 years. Both individually and as a partner, Jeremy works in the high-end market of lofts, townhouses, residential cooperatives and condominiums.
Jeremy's prior work as a designer and filmmaker has helped shape his understanding of architecture, design and overall aesthetics, which he applies to every transaction. Jeremy's familiarity with the streets and buildings of New York City, both uptown and downtown, gives him a rare understanding of the city's real estate.
Before working in real estate, Jeremy was first a successful lighting and set designer in the theater world and then an independent filmmaker and screenwriter. Jeremy's credits include writing, producing and directing a feature film for HBO called "The Photographer," which premiered in 2001. As a screenwriter, he was and remains a member of the Writer's Guild of America and has been a writer for hire on studio-financed projects since 2002.
Jeremy was born and raised in Manhattan, splitting his childhood between Greenwich Village and the Upper East Side. After graduating from The Collegiate School and then Harvard University, where he received a bachelor's degree in English, he attended Yale University, earning a master's degree in Design. Jeremy is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
