Donna Stockman joined Sotheby's International Realty after a successful career in corporate finance spanning more than ten years. Her expertise in negotiating complex business transactions and working closely with lawyers, bankers and clients has prepared her for a successful transition to real estate and has enabled her to guide her clients in their real estate decisions.
Donna is dedicated to being a responsive, knowledgeable and valued partner to her clients in helping them find the right properties and making well-informed real estate investment decisions. Her experience and knowledge in the area of nonprofit governance, in addition to her core values of ethics, integrity and tireless dedication to meeting the needs of her clients, have garnered Donna the appreciation and respect of her clients. Donna has traveled extensively and has experience in working with US and international clients. She understands the unique elements of cross-border real estate negotiations and brings her expertise in finance to financial transactions. Donna is very detail and execution oriented, has a knack for ensuring a smooth transaction and brings all parties together in a friendly, positive and constructive manner.
Having graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Lehigh University and subsequently earning her MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College, Donna brings a valuable blend of education, intelligence and warmth as well as the highest levels of professionalism and business insight.
Donna volunteers to teach financial literacy to New York City middle and high school students and is a volunteer tutor at the Teak Fellowship. She serves on the Board of the Killington Mountain School, where she is chair of the Governance Committee, and has previously served on other nonprofit boards, including as chair of the Audit Committee at Cushing Academy. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.
