New York City Real Estate

Diane Wildowsky

Well-versed in the challenges people face when moving to and from Manhattan, Diane brings a depth of experience working with the emotional challenges of buying, selling, renting or relocating to a new home. In the early 1980s she was among the first women in the country to sell the services of a moving and storage company, and as a result, comforted many a nervous homeowner as decisions were made and family heirlooms and precious treasures were packed, transported and unpacked.

Diane launched her real estate career in 2003 with Sotheby's International Realty's Soho office, where she built a solid business in the downtown market. Her many transactions include everything from helping parents buy apartments for their children to selling a spectacular West Village townhouse, from selling a prewar apartment building with tenants still in place to helping tenants transfer their rights to sell.

She then expanded her real estate expertise by moving to Halstead Property LLC's Upper West Side office, where she developed a larger network working with Upper West Side buyers and sellers.

Now Sotheby's International Realty is delighted to have her back in Soho.

Diane currently lives on the Upper West Side, having moved uptown after 16 years in the West Village. She remains active in her former neighborhood, however, as a close friend and supporter of the Bedford, Barrow, Commerce Street Block Association. She has ridden in the Boston to New York AIDS Bike Ride, walked in the Susan G. Komen Foundation Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk and hosted the first New York fundraiser for the Initiative to Educate Afghan Women. She is also president of the 740 West End Avenue Tenant's Association.
