Coming from a family real estate background, Brenda Neubauer Straus joined Sotheby's International Realty in 1988. Since then she has concentrated on selling high-end properties on both the east and west sides of Manhattan. She has also developed innovative approaches to handling estate transactions in order to satisfy the concerns of the multiple parties involved. Her community activities are many and varied, but most prominent is her position as a Governor of New York Hospital and now as a Trustee of New York-Presbyterian Hospital for over thirty years.
