Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty Susan managed the regional trust and investment services division for First National Bank of Central California, where she handled real estate transactions in a fiduciary role. She previously served as senior executive for Hospice of the Central Coast in Monterey. Susan received her Juris Doctor degree from the Monterey College of Law and holds a Bachelor's Degree from Colorado College in Colorado Springs.
Among her professional affiliations, she is a member of the California Bar Association and Monterey County Bar Association, and is President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Monterey. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Action Council for Monterey County, former Trustee of York School, past-president of the Monterey History and Art Association, chair of the CSUMB Planned Giving Advisory Council, member of the Naval Postgraduate School Foundation Planned Giving Council, and on the Comics For Kid's committee of the Boys and Girls Club of Monterey County.
Susan is married to Kenneth Schley, an investment professional with UBS. They have four children all living in the Central Coast region. Susan loves to golf and garden and is especially devoted to her granddaughters.
