Patrick Barber has been a leader with Sotheby's International Realty since 1998. He is a Senior Vice President and Managing Broker for the San Francisco and Wine Country offices. With more than 18 years of experience in the San Francisco Bay Area residential real estate market, Patrick has been able to successfully recruit many of the Bay Area's top residential agents to work for Sotheby's International Realty. Today Patrick leads a team of 70 agents who have attained such accomplishments as highest average sales price, highest per agent gross sales and selling five of the 12 most expensive Bay Area properties in a single year as published by the San Francisco Business Times.
Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, Patrick received the highest honor in residential real estate sales, ranking in the top 1% internationally with the nation's largest residential real estate firm.
Patrick's professional affiliations include the National Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors, and on the local level, the San Francisco Association of Realtors, North Bay Association of Realtors, Bay Area Real Estate Information Services, San Mateo County Association of Realtors and Silicon Valley Association of Realtors.
A native San Franciscan, Patrick has been very active in local charitable organizations and has achieved many leadership positions. Patrick is a founder and past President of San Francisco's Encore, a former Associate Trustee of the San Francisco Ballet, a member of the Chairman's Circle of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, a patron of the Sonoma Jazz Festival, a supporter of the Family Arts Circle for the De Young and Legion of Honor museums, a Young Collector for Enterprise for High School Students, and a member of San Francisco Opera's Bravo, the Asian Art Museum, the San Francisco Zoo, a Charter Member of the Bay Area Discovery Museum, the California Academy of Sciences, and the previous President and Chairman of the Bachelors of San Francisco.
Patrick is a graduate of Saint Ignatius College Prep and Stuart Hall for Boys locally and the University of San Diego. Most recently he attended the Wharton School CEO series leadership program at the University of Pennsylvania.
