Area Links
With its origins dating back to the 11th century, Knightsbridge, together with Belgravia, which borders the area to the east, is one of London's most outstanding residential real estate addresses. Lowndes Square and Ennismore Gardens are two of London's most desirable residences, and the quarter is home to some of the most famous shops, including Harrods and Harvey Nichols, together with the boutiques of Sloane Street, Beauchamp Place and Walton Street. As with much of London, the area was developed greatly in the Victorian era. The architecture of Knightsbridge properties is dominated by the Victorian style of tall windows, high ceilings and elegant facades.
