An almost exclusively residential area bordering the west of Notting Hill, Holland Park is home to some of London's best residential real estate. Holland House, a grand London property, together with the park itself was gifted to the state by the Holland family estate in the early 20th century to avoid death duties. Reputed to be London's finest small park, Holland Park has summer operas regularly on its stage. Accessibility from excellent surrounding residential areas makes the neighborhood very desirable. The Radford Brothers built Victorian Villas of Holland Park and the Regency houses of Norland Square, with its private communal gardens in much demand.
