Ted is a native of New York City and a graduate of Lehigh University, cum laude. A United States Air Force veteran, Ted served in the Far East with the 18th Fighter Bomber Group. Subsequently he flew recreationally and as a weekend flight instructor at Westchester Airport. Formerly he was a principle owner of an independent textile manufacturing business in New York City with sales both nationally and internationally.
Ted moved to Litchfield County in 1987. He is a member of the Professional Ski Instructors Association.
