Judith Navia Auchincloss entered the real estate profession in 1991. By 1993 she had become a full-time sales broker and from 1995 on she was the top producing sales agent with Auchincloss & Silk. Among her many achievements was setting the record sale price for residential property in the town of Litchfield. The company had been started by her husband, George M. Auchincloss, and his partner Karen Silk in 1991 and for over ten years enjoyed an excellent reputation. In May 2002 the company joined forces with Sotheby’s International Realty. Since that time she has consistently remained in the top echelon of producing brokers in Litchfield County. One of her clients, the former head of a prominent performing arts organization, recently said, "For sellers she is realistic and aggressive, for buyers she is understanding and persuasive. For what is normally a very stressful business, she is warm, relaxed, funny and will take care of everything."

Having come from careers in fund raising for performing arts organizations and being the personal assistant to Joe Baum the late great restaurateur, when he first opened Windows on the World at the World Trade Center, her experience in working with people has lead to her success in brokering residential and commercial deals that span the modest to millionaire spectrum.

Being the mother of two children and stepmother to twin daughters gives her great personal joy. Having served on the Board of Rumsey Hall School from 1985 to 1993, and currently serving again on the board since 2000, she began the annual school auction in 1985, which has set records the last five years of raising over $1,150,000. She is also currently on the board of the Washington Citizen’s Scholarship Fund and a member of the Washington Club.

Growing up in Chicago and Highland Park and having lived in Los Angeles, New York City, and Europe have given her a great appreciation for world culture.
