Carol is the third generation of Maxwells who have enjoyed the charm of this traditional New England town. The Maxwell clan has resided in Washington for more than 75 years, beginning with a Wall Street banker grandfather who used his gentleman's farm for a weekend retreat. Likewise for Carol, who so much enjoyed the respite from her otherwise hectic New York City career and lifestyle that she and her family permanently relocated there.

Carol continues to share her passion for all that Litchfield County offers as she specializes in the sale and purchase of historic properties, country estates and large farm parcels. Notably, Carol negotiated the record-setting $3.8 million sale of Middle Duck Farm.

Carol's long-term association with the area, both personally and professionally, is a recognized benefit to her clients.
