A-Walking Y Ranch
A-Walking Y ranch embodies the quintessential wilderness attributes of the Yellowstone environment. The Ranch is comprised of over 400 acres on the South Fork of the Shoshone River, which has its headwaters near the continental divide in the Washakie wilderness in northwest Wyoming. This is the doorstep to the Yellowstone Park ecosystem. There are over 2.5 miles of trout laden crystal clear waters that form the boundary of the Draper property. Rainbow trout, mountain whitefish, brook trout, Yellowstone cutthroat and brown trout are the species that inhabit the South Fork. This river is managed as a wild fishery with predominant emphasis on Yellowstone cutthroat (upper reaches). The 12,000 square foot home is sited at the base of Slide Mountain. This ranch estate provides access to hundreds of thousands of acres of America’s most beautiful topography.
