Real estate investors and developers work with Jay Kornoff for one reason: his proven track record. As both a realtor and attorney for more than 30 years, Jay has consistently identified key opportunities and helped turn them into profitable realities.

Since relocating from California to Jackson Hole in 1992, Jay has specialized in commercial investment and development properties with the former Teton Shadows Realty, an affiliate firm that was fully acquired by Sotheby's International Realty in 1999.

Jay fully exploits his comprehensive real estate and legal knowledge and resources to the direct benefit of his clients. Acknowledged for his creativity and tenacity by buyers and sellers alike, Jay utilizes his combined professional expertise to uncover and develop those opportunities best suited to each client's needs and interest.

Throughout his private legal practice, which spanned three decades in California and Wyoming, Jay specialized in real estate, development and construction law. During that time, he negotiated development entitlements with land agencies on behalf of clients including contractors and developers. Clients today continue to benefit from his recognized authority in this field as Jay uses his knowledge of local land development regulations to secure development entitlements from area governmental agencies.

Professionally, Jay belongs to the National Association of Realtors and the Wyoming Association of Realtors. He is a member of the Wyoming and California Bar Associations plus the Teton Country Bar Association.

Jay credits Tanya, his wife of 33 years, for inspiring him to continue indulging his passion for what initially drew him to Jackson Hole, the vastness of nature and an inexhaustible selection of outdoor activities. Proudly, he set a hiking personal best last year when he climbed the Grand Teton. Together, they enjoy winter sports including cross-country and alpine skiing.
