Originally from New York, New York, Jackie graduated from Skidmore College as an Art major. She has business experience with J. Walter Thompson Advertising in New York, with Panorama International Real Estate in Spain and Washington DC, as owner of J.O. Fernald Real Estate in Washington DC, Virginia and Wyoming, and as co-owner of Jackson Hole Realty from 1988-2003. She has worked on political campaigns in Texas, Florida, Washington DC and Wyoming, and currently serves as an active board member for the American Red Cross Bridger-Teton Branch and the Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum.

Having lived in Jackson and been involved with its real estate community for over 33 years, Jackie has always encouraged responsible growth and community in Jackson Hole, reflecting her true love for the valley. Jackie's interests include family, travel, politics and art.
