Don brings to his current position as a sales associate for Sotheby's International Realty 40 years of combined experience in the military, technical sales, marketing and manufacturing arenas, where attention to detail, exceeding customer expectations and strict attention to quality were not a luxury, but a necessity for the well-being of his men, his employees, his customers and their customers. He also spent 20 years on a township planning commission, where he saw the positive and negative effects of planning and design of residential and commercial developments and residences. His goal is to use these experiences to assist his real estate customers to meet their objectives and dreams in this constantly challenging market.

Don is an avid road bicyclist, fly-fisherman, photographer and cross-country skier. He is very active in Jackson as a docent and volunteer at The National Museum of Wildlife Art, a board member of The Friends of Pathways, an advisory board member of The Grand Teton National Park Foundation, the Service Officer for The American Legion Post #43, a board member of The Teton Raptor Center and a member of the Rotary Club of Jackson Hole.

Don is also very interested in supporting and promoting green building practices that will lead to a more environmentally sustainable future for present and future generations. He is the first real estate agent in Jackson Hole, and the second in Wyoming, to achieve the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Green Designee certification. His next goal is to achieve the US Green Builder's Council (USGBC) LEED Green Associate and LEED AP Home accreditations. With these credentials, plus 30 years of working closely with environmental issues in manufacturing, Don hopes to create an environment in Jackson Hole where buyers and sellers will routinely include green requirements in their real estate transactions.
