After graduation from the University of Texas with a BA in Liberal Arts degree in hand, Sissy Deane returned to Houston to marry her high school sweetheart. Armed with personal history of our great city, Sissy embarked on an interesting career as a travel agent and later was recruited by Walter Bering to sell real estate. Sissy has deep roots in Houston and these trusted relationships have served as building blocks for her real estate business. At Bering Realty she received the award for “Rookie of the Year”. During her time at her previous brokerage, Sissy was a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club for sales. Sissy has sold and closed over 100 residential properties. She was a certified Relocation Specialist and delighted in helping her buyers learn about their new city.
Sissy prides herself in understanding that selling or purchasing a home is very personal and considers it an honor each time she is chosen to assist her clients. Realizing that this can be an emotional process she is known for her calming, caring demeanor which transfers into a great experience for both buyers and sellers. Sissy’s volunteer activities include: Junior League of Austin, Laguna Gloria Art Museum, AWARE, PTA, 4th grade Sunday School teacher, House of Friends, Meals on Wheels in Austin. Photographer volunteer at Bethany UMC. New volunteer at Friends For Life no kill animal shelter in the Heights.
Sissy’s hobbies include photography, walking, spending time with friends/family at the beach, trying new restaurants, movies, music and reading.
