A Houston resident since 1955, Peggy Vineyard graduated from the University of Houston where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in guidance and counseling. She has served as a member of the board of directors of the University of Houston’s alumni association as well as a committee member and fundraiser for the Art League of Houston. Peggy currently volunteers with the Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation, Ballet Guild and numerous other charities.
Peggy joined Martha Turner Properties as a sales associate in 1982 following a career as an elementary school teacher, art teacher and school counselor in the Houston and Alief school districts. The skills Peggy learned and employed during her years as a teacher and counselor have proven invaluable to her real estate business. Her strong organizational skills in planning, marketing and strategy coupled with good communication and listening skills are the keys to her success. As an unofficial “Ambassador of Houston,” she especially enjoys educating newcomers about the city, neighborhoods and schools.
Peggy has been a highly successful Realtor for both buyers and sellers and consistently enjoys top producer status with Martha Turner Properties. She has been a member of the Circle of Excellenceevery year for the past 18 years, earned membership in the Circle’s Hall of Fame, and ranks in the top five-percent of the company’s producers for the last 24 years.
The daughter of track coach and former Olympian Johnny Morriss, Peggy was reared with a strong work and success ethic which required her to
