Monica believes in not only serving her clients, but also her community. She is the founder and director of REIS (Real Estate Initiative for Students), which offers high school juniors and seniors interested in residential real estate no-cost internships. Monica is also an executive board member of Beth Yeshurun Sisterhood, a member of the National Council of Jewish Women and a lifetime member of Hadassah. For every transaction, she donates a portion of the proceeds to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.
A native of Southern California, Monica lived in multiple cities domestic and abroad before making Houston her home. A member of the American Bar Association, Monica graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University Law School where she studied as a full merit Hutchinson Fellow, was an editor on the SMU Law Review and received the Order of the Coif. She graduated magna cum laude from Colorado College with a BA in Chinese History and Political Science, during which time she also studied as a merit Fellow in Mandarin Chinese at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. She and her husband are blessed with a son who attends Trinity and a daughter who studies voice in Rice University’s High School Music Program.
