Lorian Welsh has been a full-time Realtor since 1990. Rather than specialize in any particular neighborhood, Lorian focuses on new construction, updated and original condition resale homes, and lots. Lorian's clients describe her as having an outstanding work ethic, a keen sense of market knowledge, and excellent negotiating and problem-solving skills. She is also recognized as being open and honest, reliable, highly competent, innovative, and results-oriented.
A Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty Circle of Excellence Award winner and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Lorian works successfully with both buyers and sellers. Lorian holds the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designation from the National Association of Home Builders and has represented home builders in premier Houston neighborhoods as well as buyers interested in new construction homes. She is very experienced in assisting senior homeowners, heirs, attorneys and bank trust officers with their particular real estate needs, including personal property liquidation, and has earned a Senior Real Estate Specialist designation (SRES) through the National Association of Realtors. Lorian has the training and expertise to counsel senior clients and their families through the major lifestyle transitions involved in selling a life-long home. She also enjoys assisting with the needs of relocation clients moving into or out of Houston.
Very involved in her community, Lorian is a past member of her neighborhood civic association’s board of directors and currently serves on the deed restrictions committee. Much of her free time in the last 13 years has been spent helping at-risk young people she met as a Respite Foster Parent for Harris County Protective Services and as a volunteer for the Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund. Lorian holds an undergraduate degree from Florida State University and a graduate degree from Florida International University. Her leisure interests include vintage fashion, reading, traveling, and architectural design. She is a member of the Rice Design Alliance and Houston MOD.
