Joi Morley helps sellers and buyers in neighborhoods across Houston and always enjoys discovering up and coming areas. Joi’s professionalism and undeniably strong work ethic, combined with strong organizational, communication and negotiating skills, make her the Realtor of choice for a network of loyal clients.
Particularly experienced in seeing the potential in properties – the “bones” – for buyers, Joi uses the same skill to help sellers improve their property to achieve the highest possible sales price. “I love helping my clients make one of the biggest financial and personal decisions of their lives – purchasing or selling a home. And I am honored to be a part of the process,” she says.
A previous career in outside pharmaceutical sales taught Joi to operate successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure sales environment. She uses that wealth of experience to keep her clients’ real estate transactions on track for smooth closings. “I work well with all personalities and thrive in a busy atmosphere,” she says. “I stay motivated and work hard, even in difficult situations.”
Joi was born in Coral Gables, Florida, and moved with her family to Conroe when she was in elementary school. A graduate of Conroe High School, she earned an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate degree in education from the University of Houston.
“Psychology has helped me throughout my life in evaluating other people's motivations and intentions when working on both a personal and professional capacity. Education is in large part communication, which is key in achieving the best for my client in a real estate transaction,” Joi says.
A resident of Houston’s near west side since 1989, Joi is married and the mother of three children who attend Spring Branch Elementary School. She is an active parent volunteer and chairperson for her children’s classroom and PTA activities, volunteers to feed the homeless through her church, and supports the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in a variety of capacities. Joi’s leisure time is spent with her family and she enjoys gardening, decorating, walking, and yoga.
