Jill Jones Rome understands the importance of marketing and that the first impression is the one that counts in almost everything in life - and especially in residential real estate. A native Houstonian, Jill knows the Houston area and the real estate market. She and her family currently reside in the Memorial area but have lived in West University, Larchmont, Cypress, and southwest Houston.
Jill’s experience in legal recruiting, staffing, client relations and volunteering taught her the importance of good presentation, and that no detail is too small and no potential challenge too remote not to address ahead of time. “As a legal recruiter, I was very good at placing the candidates in their perfect jobs,” Jill says. “It is the same skills that I use to bring people and their new homes together.”
A real estate major in college, Jill has always had a passion for what she does. “I love the search,” Jill says. “Putting a buyer in their perfect home or matching a seller’s house with the right buyer is so satisfying. I love visualizing a home’s maximum potential with my clients.”
Energetic, efficient, extremely organized, and devoted to her clients, Jill gives 100-percent to everything that she does. “I have a good eye and can guide my sellers to make positive changes that make their homes more marketable.”
Jill graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Houston. She attended The University of Texas at Austin where she joined Delta Delta Delta sorority and earned a BBA with a concentration in real estate and urban land development.
Jill is an active volunteer at The Kinkaid School where her sons have been students for the last fourteen years. Her favorite and most rewarding positions have included President of the Booster Club, Team Mom of various sports, and Scrapbook Chair for each of her sons’ grades. Jill has also happily given her time to Post Oak Little League. She is honored to have been the President of the Women’s Association representing all of the wonderful mothers that keep the league running and her husband, Mark, has served as the League President and Chairman of the Board. The Romes miss the fun nights at POLL with their family and friends.
When her busy schedule permits, Jill can be found on the tennis courts at the Houston Racquet Club or in purple and gold cheering on her sons at Kinkaid baseball, football and soccer games. She considers a perfect evening to be barbequing with her family and having a good competitive game night. Jill’s favorite guilty pleasure is watching The Bachelor while laughing with her girlfriends.
