Native Texan Hilary Scarborough grew up in and around the Houston area. After receiving a degree in English rhetoric from Texas A&M University, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in screen writing and acting, earning accolades for voice-over performances. After several years, she returned to her Texas roots in Houston and continued her acting career.
Hilary capitalized on her presentation skills in a career move to outside sales. She worked for ADP for many years in business-to-business sales then moved to medical sales for Tyco Healthcare. After Hilary bought her first home in 2003, she purchased and sold a number of personal investment properties before entering residential real estate as a career in 2008. “I like to say I entered the family business,” Hilary says. “My husband is a real estate attorney who specializes in office leasing and my brothers-in-law are commercial real estate brokers.”
Hilary enjoys guiding people through the emotional process of buying and selling homes. She understands that clients’ lifestyles, tastes, and timelines change so she is always flexible and provides the best real estate experience possible.
When not working, spending time with family and friends is Hilary’s great joy. She also enjoys biking, fishing, playing sports with her son, and attending all of his team events. Hilary lives in the Memorial Villages and actively volunteers at her son’s school.
