Dean Bittles was born and raised in Austin, Texas on Lake Travis. He attended Texas A&M University and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in communication design from Texas State University. To make it possible to pursue his specialized degree, he had to transfer to Texas State but continued to embrace his “Aggie roots” and remains very connected to his Aggie group of friends.
Upon graduation, Dean began freelancing in concept development, branding and marketing. He successfully worked with self- proprietors and start-ups to divisions within Global 500 companies. He created, designed and engineered physical products as well as simulated consumer experiences to develop bars and restaurants. Having begun working at the young age of 12, Dean built a successful business as a self-starter directly out of college. Doubtless, he knows first-hand what it takes to be successful in the world of entrepreneurship. This background has proven to be a perfect marriage with residential real estate. This consummate professional is highly committed and devoted to providing a seamless transaction from contract to closing.
Developing consumer experiences in the past has translated into marketing homes like a product rather than a structure. One of Dean’s greatest attributes is being a bold and confident unique thinker. This top producer embraces the philosophy of allowing his buyers and sellers to envision a lifestyle when selecting a home.
Dean and his wife moved to Chicago where he joined the brokerage of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty. He is still active with the firm and is available to help clients in the Chicago area. Being “hands on” with a multi-million dollar producer, Dean gained immense experience which served as a great platform for his own personal success as an agent.
Dean and his wife, who is a nurse, have a very special passion for therapy programs involving training pets to visit children who are in the hospital. Having been sick as a child, Dean wanted to get involved and Kona, his Great Dane, is in training and well on her way to having a compassionate spirit for sick children. When time allows, Dean plays golf, attends baseball and football games, art festivals, concerts and farmer markets. He loves to embrace one of his passions by cooking for family, friends and clients.
