Houston native Megan Ray has a depth of real estate experience that belies her years. Entering residential real estate as an assistant to one of Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty’s top producers, Megan learned on the job, and she learned all aspects of the job: driving Houston neighborhoods to become familiar with the streets and area characteristics; preparing comparable sales and active listing data to help clients make informed purchase or sale decisions; respect for each client as an individual and dedication to their goals; honed negotiation skills; and commitment to maintaining up-to-the-minute, targeted knowledge of the Houston real estate market.

Prior to her real estate career, Megan worked extensively in sales, with positions in advertising sales and customer relations. As all successful salespersons do, she acquired the ability to adapt to people from all backgrounds and cultures, and learned to appreciate the critical importance of communication.

"I like the entire real estate transaction," Megan states. "I enjoy getting to know people, assisting in their purchase or sale process, and advising them in what may be one of their most important financial decisions. Negotiation is very natural for me; I am energetic, well prepared, do my research, know the market, and am very straightforward. I love the challenge of the entire transaction process from executing a contract to closing, and completing that journey with my clients. My very favorite part is that after the closing, I have made new friends."

Megan grew up in the Champions area, attended Klein High School, and graduated from Texas Christian University with a BBA in marketing. She believes in giving back and donates many hours to volunteering for Memorial Hermann Hospital, St. Michael's Catholic Church, Active Alumni for TCU, and The Junior League of Houston. When not working, Megan enjoys reading, running, yoga and spending time with her family and friends.
