Maya Fasthoff draws on 12 years of extensive sales, marketing, communication, and relationship skills to ensure success for her residential real estate clients. “I am great at building relationships with my clients and connecting people with one another,” says Maya. “I really am a people person.”
A native of Cali, Colombia, Maya moved with her family to the United States in 1988, and her international background and bilingual skills ideally position her to work with clients from many different cultures who live in Houston or are moving to the city.
Maya’s poise and professionalism were honed as a public speaker, television personality and interviewer, recruiter, and regional sales mentor. A degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Houston gives Maya a decided advantage when selecting the best marketing materials to promote her sellers’ homes. Prior to her career in residential real estate, Maya served as on-air talent recruiting high-profile guests and conducting interviews for promotional events on Salsa TV. She continues to write and publish a restaurant blog entitled “Restaurant Traveler.”
When not selling real estate, Maya enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants for her blog, exploring museums, designing jewelry, and spending time with her family. She is married to an intellectual property attorney and restaurateur who is a co-owner of Batanga. They live in the Heights with their son and a grown daughter who attends the University of Texas.
