Realtor Katherine Warren’s exceptionally wide-ranging, professional portfolio lends additional gravity to the advice and guidance she gives to her sellers and buyers. Katherine practiced law for 10 years and was recognized as a significant force in legal business development. Katherine emphasizes that her marketing skill is a critical component in her ultimate career choice, residential real estate sales. Katherine was honored as one of the top 10 new recruits for Sotheby’s International Realty company wide and was recognized as one of the top 2% of NRT agents for properties closed during one of NRT LLC’s 2015 periodic sales analyses. NRT owns and operates companies in more than 50 of the 100 largest metropolitan areas in the United States.
A Houstonian for more than 20 years, Katherine has lived in several of Houston’s traditional, close-in neighborhoods. Her resume of addresses includes Southside Place, River Oaks, Memorial, and Afton Woods, and she understands the redevelopment these neighborhoods have undergone as buyers increasingly seek close-to-town locations.
Katherine founded her own design company, Warren Works, LLC, and worked as a design consultant for premier developer and custom home builder Lovett Homes. Katherine designed fresh looks for Lovett communities’ interiors and consulted on all design aspects for new planned communities. She also consulted on design for the Ravenna development near the Awty School, the 2013 West University Show House, and the personal home of Lovett founder and CEO.
For Katherine, the experience gained as a designer for high-powered projects was a natural bridge to residential real estate sales. “Real estate sales enable me to combine all of my interests and skills into one career,” Katherine says.
A cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Katherine went on to earn a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago.
Katherine has always incorporated service into her busy schedule. She volunteered for eight years in The Kinkaid School’s middle school library and signed on for projects that ranged from the annual book fair to class coffees. Katherine is a member of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, the Forest Club, Houston Racquet Club, Stablewood Investment Club, The Briar Club, and the Needlepoint Club.
All three of Katherine’s sons attended The Kinkaid School, and two of them are attending Rice University. Katherine’s leisure pursuits include art and architecture, European travel, current events, and tennis.
