When not at work, Karen spends her time with her beloved husband, children and grandson. Karen currently volunteers her time as President of the Women’s City Club, as a member of the Advisory Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, as a member of the Board of Trustees of Congregation Beth Israel, on the High Heels for Meals Committee of the Meals on Wheels program for Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston and as a member of the Frostwood Elementary School Community Improvement Team, having previously served on the Community Improvement Teams for Bunker Hill Elementary School and Spring Branch Middle School.
