Kathryn Bonner

The sophisticated and fast-paced environment of residential real estate at Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty is the perfect surrounding for third-generation Houstonian Kathryn Bonner.

Kathryn combines strong analytical expertise with an aptitude for negotiation, a honed ability to focus on financial and contractual details, and superb interpersonal communication and relationship building. Her background in risk management and business development for commodity trading businesses at major financial institutions and corporations gives her flexibility, poise and the skills to successfully navigate a sometimes unpredictable marketplace.

Intellectually curious and genuinely interested in other people, Kathryn cultivates an impressive network of contacts that pulls from a wide spectrum of present and former colleagues, clients, former clients, future clients, industry professionals, and, of course, friends.

“Developing personal relationships and helping individuals and families reach milestones in their lives and fulfill their personal goals are my priorities,” says Kathryn. “I truly love helping buyer clients to visualize a home’s possibilities and advising my sellers about preparing their home for sale. Even though I grew up here, I am always learning more about Houston neighborhoods and sharing that information with my clients. I also track the changing regulatory environment in real estate as that often has an impact on my clients and the way we can structure their transactions.”

Kathryn regards community service as a privilege. She has served as event co-chair for the Foundation for Teen Health fund-raiser and is an acting member of the organization’s event host committee.

Raised in the Memorial area, Kathryn graduated from Memorial High School, received an undergraduate degree in finance from Southern Methodist University, and earned an MBA from Boston University. She lives in Upper Kirby and when not working enjoys ROW, running, and spending time with family and friends.
