A descendent of the Hardscrabble Daytons, Ethan Dayton’s family heritage dates back to the 1600’s and some of the earliest settlers of the Hamptons. Drawing upon his legacy, Ethan is a new generation of real estate professional, possessing deep-rooted local connections, global life experience and today, a passionate commitment to living and serving the Hamptons of the future. Ethan draws upon a diverse range of skills and experience in his real estate practice. Well versed in the many special neighborhoods and living environments that collectively make up this diverse seaside community, Ethan provides excellent guidance and real insights that are invaluable to buyers, sellers,and seasonal renters alike.
As an apprentice to his grandfather and father, Ethan was trained first-hand in home construction and fine craftsmanship, cultivating close relationships with the local building departments and zoning boards while gaining extensive knowledge of building and renovation procedures. Formerly a model for renowned photographer Bruce Webber, Ethan has established contacts in the entertainment community, subsequently working on a major TV show and mini-series. Ethan contributes his time to the preservation and safety of the East End as a volunteer with the East Hampton Fire Department and Ocean Rescue squad. Fluent in Spanish, he has traveled extensively through Panama, Ecuador, Peru and remote parts of Central America exploring new cultures and lifestyles. While attending University of Hawaii, Ethan, an avid surfer, experienced some of the world’s biggest waves, but still passionately loves the amazing surfing experiences right here at home in the Hamptons.
