Wendy Burnett received her training in real estate in Manhattan. Subsequently, she moved to the Hamptons where she was managing broker for Bellringer Real Estate in their Southampton office for three years. She then opened her own agency in 1976 in Water Mill, New York, which was in operation for 22 years. She joined Sotheby's International Realty in 1998.
