Dawn Brennan Hagen, who joined Sotheby's International Realty with its 1997 acquisition of the Bridgehampton office, has an extensive background in real estate, including development, residential and commercial sales, and investment properties. Dawn has completed many 1031 like kind exchange transactions. She transacted more than $40 million in property sales last year alone. A native of the Hamptons, Dawn is highly familiar with the area's building permit requirements and specific town codes, in addition to land preservation and conservation measurements. Active in local community affairs, she is a committee member of the Town of Southampton Environmental Advisory Board. Prior to her career in real estate, Dawn taught art for nine years after earning a bachelor's degree in art education from Long Island University. She also conducted undergraduate studies at Tufts University and the Boston Museum School in Massachusetts. An avid equestrian, she has been recognized at the National Horse Show, an annual event held in New York City.
