Cindy Shea provides buyers and sellers in today's real estate market with tangible advantages: professional real estate and legal expertise, a Hamptons-wide resource network and personal insight as a resident of East Hampton for more than 20 years.
A graduate of Harvard Law School and Cornell University, Cindy served for eight years as East Hampton Town Attorney and dealt extensively with land use, preservation and zoning issues on behalf of East Hampton Town and neighboring Southampton Town.
Since 2001, Cindy has been helping clients buy, sell and lease real estate throughout the Hamptons, including Southampton, East Hampton, Amagansett, Sag Harbor and North Haven. Cindy's clients look to her for insight, particularly on local market dynamics, investment opportunities and specialty properties such as luxury oceanfront estates.
Cindy's negotiating skills coupled with her ability to explain complex property issues in understandable terms are appreciated by her clients, which, in part, explains why 75 percent of her client base consists of repeat customers and their referrals.
Raising two children in the area, Cindy and her husband, John, a founding partner in a local law firm, are highly active in the East End community. For example, Cindy served on the Board of Trustees for Suffolk County Community College for over seven years. Cindy is a tremendous source of information about the many local recreational and educational opportunities available for youth in the Hamptons.
