Edward Thomas (Tom) Broadhurst has recently joined Sotheby's International Realty after nearly three decades in the financial markets. He spent 20 years in the bond business including five years in London. Recently, he has been an independent consultant for money managers and service providers to hedge funds. His superior negotiation, analytical and communication skills make Tom a great real estate broker.
A 20-year resident of Greenwich, Tom is a graduate of Deerfield Academy and Bucknell University, and has an MBA from NYU. He and his wife, Kelly, have two children, both of whom attended Greenwich Public Schools. He is an active suburban athlete, an avid sailor and a member of the Riverside Yacht Club.
Tom is a four-term member of the Representative Town Meeting (RTM), with all terms having been spent on the finance committee. He is committed to careful fiscal management and keeping town taxes down. He is also a founding board member of the Greenwich Point Conservancy, which is dedicated to restoring the buildings of Greenwich Point Park to their original condition. In 2009, Tom was chair of the U.S. Disabled Sailing Championship.
