Joseph Barbieri, a Greenwich resident for 26 years, began his career as a real estate professional in 1986. It seemed a natural choice for him, given his appreciation of the many appealing qualities of the town and its beautiful properties. In particular, Greenwich's historic estates and those of Conyers Farm are among his great passions.

Within his first year of working with Preferred Properties, he achieved award-winning status handling over 25 sales. After working for eight years with Sotheby's International Realty affiliate William Pitt Real Estate, he joined Sotheby's International Realty when the firm opened its own Greenwich office in 1995.

Professionalism and integrity are core values that Joe is committed to in every aspect of the service he provides. His enthusiasm and optimistic attitude also contribute to his success. Through sincere and straightforward communication, he works diligently to earn his clients' trust. He enjoys longstanding relationships with his clients, many of whom become repeat customers and/or provide referrals.

Joe understands the innate joy that comes from ownership of exceptional properties, and considers it an honor to represent them. He is dedicated to matching clients with their ideal home, and is also always mindful of the great responsibility that comes with handling the purchase and sale of these significant financial assets. Throughout his accomplished career, Joe has negotiated numerous notable and record-breaking sales. In recent months, he has handled eight real estate transactions totaling nearly $58,000,000.
