Janet has had a diverse and successful entrepreneurial career in sales spanning more than three decades combining her vast experience and professional knowledge with her hands-on personal service approach in representing each and every client. She recognizes that every property and client requires a specific and individual approach to make the experience as positive as possible with her objective being to ensure that clients meet their personal real estate goals creating a win/win scenario for all involved.
Janet established her real estate career in 1999 in the greater Los Angeles area with DBL Realtors (acquired by Sotheby’s International Realty in 2004) and the move to Santa Barbara in 2004 afforded her the opportunity to offer her clients unique marketing opportunities that include exposure through her memberships in three multiple listing services, Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles, and the international connections of Sotheby’s International Realty in addition to her vast personal network of agents.
On a professional level, Janet is a member of the Santa Barbara Board of Realtors and serves on its Board of Directors, the Education Committee, the MLS Committee, the Grievance Committee, the Los Angeles Multiple Listing Service, the Ventura/Oxnard/Carets Multiple Listing Services (MLS), the Santa Barbara Multiple Listing Service (MLS), the California Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. In addition to her professional affiliations, she was a 2012 NAWBO-SB Spirit Of Entrepreneurship Top Nominee, is a NAR Certified Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource realtor, and is involved with non-profit organizations as a consultant and volunteer, contributing time and financial support; those include Conservation International, Heal the Ocean, The Institute for Individual and World Peace, The Heartfelt Foundation, Santa Barbara Food Bank, CASA and Transition House.
