George, a lifelong Greenwich resident, went into real estate in 2001. He realized that after a career as an independent residential construction estimator for several prominent Fairfield County contractors, real estate and construction are very complementary industries. He worked at Cleveland, Duble & Arnold for ten years before the firm was acquired by Sotheby's International Realty.

Describing himself as a numbers person, George is a local real estate investor, having bought and sold over 20 properties of his own, built on speculation and subdivided property. He graduated from the Brunswick School in Greenwich and Washington State University in 1978 with a BS in Animal Science. He is a candidate for the prestigious CCIM designation. George's local activities include the Board of Education RISE Committee and the Boy Scouts. He has two sons in Greenwich public schools and lives in Riverside. He is also a member of the Riverside Yacht Club.
