Fi Fi Sheridan entered the real estate profession in 2008 with the former Greenwich Fine Properties and joined Sotheby’s International Realty in 2013. She believes the essentials of her practice include integrity, discretion, thoroughness, creativity in problem solving, a sense of humor, understanding her clients’ interests and dreams and a thorough knowledge of the market.
Fi Fi has had the pleasure of dealing with clients from all over the world; those looking for second homes, couples looking for a different lifestyle, families moving from other communities and young professionals purchasing their first homes. She has enjoyed every client has worked with.
Following her graduation from Saint Louis University, Fi Fi studied in Florence, Italy before working for the International Committee for Famine Relief group—Oxfam-- for two years in the Congo. Returning to the U.S., she worked for the National Endowment for the Humanities and was recruited to work at the National Endowment for the Arts in Washington. Fi Fi continued with them while living in New Orleans for three years. A move to San Francisco with her husband and young daughter allowed her to establish a specialty children’s furniture business before moving to Greenwich. In all communities, Fi Fi has been active in civic life, serving on the boards of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, the Junior League, Green Fingers Garden Club, as a Trustee of the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation and a Commissioner for the Town of Greenwich’s Historic District Commission. She chaired a major fund raiser for the Tomes-Higgins House at Christ Church Greenwich, volunteered for her daughter’s schools in San Francisco, Greenwich, Zurich, Switzerland and Barnard College at Columbia University. She fully appreciates the excitement and challenges of moving into a new community, learning a new language and a new culture. She understands the experience of construction, having renovated and sold ten homes.
Her extensive community and civic involvement enables Fi Fi to advise and guide clients on a variety of issues in the property purchasing process.
