Ellen Roth
Prior to entering real estate in 1976, Ellen Roth taught in the Greenwich Public School system and had a career as an account executive with a Greenwich-based mutual fund. She joined William Pitt Real Estate, now Sotheby's International Realty, in 1985 and has consistently been a top producer, earning the William Pitt designation of Platinum Superstar, the highest category recognized by the firm.
Ellen has extensive knowledge of the Greenwich community and has volunteered with various schools and philanthropic and community health organizations in town. She currently serves on the Grievance and Scholarship Committees for the Greenwich Association of Realtors. Her market areas include Greenwich, Darien and New Canaan.
Ellen has been named to Who's Who in Residential Real Estate in North America, a distinction given to the top real estate sales executives in the United States and Canada. While there are more than 2.5 million real estate licensees in the two countries, less than 2,000 were named to the list. She has been the listing and selling agent for various high-end backcountry properties and projects owned by the FDIC. Ellen sells and lists properties at all levels of the market and is currently the listing agent for a 20-unit condominium project in downtown Greenwich. In addition, she is a Relocation Specialist, working with companies who purchase homes from their transferees and then rely on Ellen to sell them in an efficient and timely manner. Conversely, she also finds homes for those transferees coming to make Greenwich, Darien or New Canaan their home.
Ellen graduated from Syracuse University and Adelphi University with a degree in speech pathology and audiology. She and her husband and two children have lived in Greenwich since 1972. Her children attended the Greenwich Public Schools, and both graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Her son also has an MBA from Oxford University.
