Sotheby’s International Realty

Elise Henning has an extensive background in selling luxury real estate, having come to Sotheby’s International Realty after working for Stribling and Associates on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Martha A. Gottfried in Palm Beach and Hunneman and Company in the Back Bay of Boston.

Elise grew up in New Canaan, where she graduated from New Canaan Country School. She also graduated from the Ethel Walker School and later served on its Board of Trustees and as co-chair of the school’s 75th anniversary celebration. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College.

Before selling real estate, Elise worked in corporate public relations and special events at Norton Simon, Inc., and Philip Morris International, both in New York. While in Palm Beach, she served as director of sales for the area’s premier caterer and party planner.

Elise has lived in Geneva and Buenos Aires and is fluent in French and Spanish. Her background is well-matched to the international character of Greenwich.
