Cheryl Makrinos has been actively involved in the Greenwich real estate market since 1995. A third-generation Greenwich native, Cheryl owns and manages income-producing residential and commercial properties in Greenwich and Rye, New York. From landlord/tenant relations to first-hand general contractor experience, Cheryl is well versed in the complexities of real estate ownership and development. Through her industry experience, Cheryl has learned to work successfully with Greenwich's Building and Planning-and-Zoning departments. She also cultivated important relationships with other local real estate professionals, including architects, engineering consultants, surveyors, contractors, landscape architects, interior designers, mortgage brokers and real estate lawyers. Cheryl graduated from Greenwich Academy and with honors from Drexel University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, Cheryl was president of a Greenwich-based, medical-device manufacturer. There she was responsible for the company's marketing programs, supplier negotiations, business development and key customer accounts- all Fortune 500 companies. She still sits on the board of the company but now devotes herself full-time to real estate marketing and sales.
